I don't really think that I need to go into a day by day breakdown this week as it's much of the same all over again...
Instead here's a bunch of pictures from earlier in the week...
Rain... lots of rain |
ECJ helping YCJ with some English Review |
Peanut hamming it up during alphabet review |
As you can see it was a goofy, rainy, but productive week. Peanut learned that she can watch movies on Daddy's phone and showed just how much she really knows when it comes to her letters and math. YCJ spent a day giving me a headache and then quickly came around. ECJ decided one night to get onto Mommy's computer without permission to play games (since the laptops are not hooked up to the new router) and so has been grounded from electronics for the rest of the summer. It's been an ongoing problem with him getting onto the computers in the middle of the night and I've ended up having to shut my computer completely down at night (something I haven't done in years).
I will not be posting a weekly wrap up next week most likely, and if I do it will be even shorter than this one. I have just a few more days to go before surgery next Tuesday. I'll be keeping everyone updated through Facebook at the Homeschool Campers page. Thank you for all the well wishes that I've received the past few weeks! And keep an eye out next Wednesday for a condensed post on our curriculum choices this school year (thank God for the schedule button). And I don't know how much I'll be posting for the rest of the month... I am going to attempt to figure out how to do so from my phone as I've decided to forgo the internet in the house this month after today since I'm the main one that uses it and I'll be recovering.

Prayers for a safe surgery! I'll have to friend you on FB to stay posed. Bethany loves the pic of the dog with the flower on her head.
ReplyDeleteWe were being silly with the dogs. My surgery went well and my recovery seems to be doing well as well. Thank you for the prayers!!
DeleteDefinitely prayers for you to have a safe surgery. I'll see if I can remember one of my facebook accounts. I haven't logged in in quite a while. Ok I remembered it.
ReplyDeleteOne morning in our old house I woke up and went downstairs to get breakfast and I could hear the TV on in the basement. So I went down to the basement and Philip was watching cartoons. I assumed he got up early but then he started telling me that we really needed a juicer. He was sounding like an infomercial. A quick Google search of the listing revealed that one was on at 3 am. More questioning revealed he had been up all night. He was seven!
My surgery went well and I seem to be doing OK. Still recovering but I am hopeful that I will be back to 100% shortly.
DeleteI do wonder sometimes why children (and why it almost is always the boys) that think that they can do these all night TV and gaming sessions without permission. ECJ used to do it with TV too when he was younger ... now it's all about video games and computers LOL
